Mallards is part of a lovely old building which used to be a Steam Laundry and before that a Timber Mill. It was converted into three large houses in the 1980s, each with its own private terrace beside the canal.  There is parking space next to the house for up to 3 cars with access along a private drive. The sheltered location and central heating make it ideal for use all year round.

The property is suitable for use by up to eight adults, plus two children under the age of ten.

Pets are welcome, but must be confined to the ground floor and be kept on a lead outside.

This is a non-smoking house, but you are welcome to smoke outside in the covered entrance porch.

Kitchen/dining room: Split-level and open plan with windows to the canal and to the parking area. Dining area with table seating up to 8 adults and 2 children. The kitchen is generously equipped with crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils, plus a dishwasher, microwave, gas range cooker with 8 burners, 2 ovens and grill, and a large fridge/freezer.

Laundry room: with full-size washing machine and tumble drier.

Shower / WC: with thermostatic shower, WC and wash basin.

First Floor:

Lounge: Very large and light room with views of the canal and countryside. Comfortable chairs and sofas for 8 people. Writing table and 2 chairs. Well-stocked bookshelf. TV/DVD including Freeview channels. CD player and radio.

Bedroom 1: 1 x double bed (4ft 6ins). Chest of drawers. Very cosy room with large window looking over the canal.

Top Floor:

Bedroom 2: 1 x double bed (5ft) and 1 x single bed with extra mattress underneath. Wardrobe and drawers. Large room with views towards Bude town centre.

Bedroom 3: 2 x single beds. Chest of drawers. Velux roof window with blackout blind.

Bedroom 4: 1 x single bed with extra mattress underneath. Chest of drawers. Velux roof window with blackout blind.

Rowing boat tied up at the jetty (adult and child lifejackets available).
