Raven Surf School. The best in the area for small groups and individual tuition. Highly recommended. Lots of links to other useful surfing sites, weather and surf forecasts, tide data and local information.
Eating Out:
Newly refurbished hotel and restaurant in a prominent location on the coast road between Bude and Widemouth. Next to the coastal path, about 1.5 miles from Mallards. Indoor and outdoor dining, varied menu, wonderful sea views. Highly recommended. Recently reviewed by the Daily Telegraph.
Real ales and superb food at reasonable prices in a relaxed pub environment with comfy sofas and large outdoor terraces, close to Widemouth beach.
Scandinavian style bistro restaurant / cafe overlooking Summerleaze beach. Frequently recommended by guests.
